In this example we are using the domain name www.example.com.au replace this with your own domain name.
Which type to use?
POP3 downloads all your emails to the current program you are using. It does not store emails on the server, so frees up your hosting account space.
IMAP stores emails on the server so you can view them on any device, down side is it can use a lot of your hosting space.
Username: is your full email address i.e email@example.com
Password: you set up in your control panel.
Incoming Server: mail.example.com.au
- IMAP Port: 143
- POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: mail.example.com.au
SMTP Port: 587
Tick requires authentication to enable you to re-enter your username / password.
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication
- Do not tick Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
- Do not tick allowing for any SSL options.
- If during the process you are asked to approve the use of host.spgraphics.com.au then tick yes.
